Online Training on the CE Marking platform by the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce

On December 9, 2024, the dedicated training day on the presentation of the CE Marking platform, organized by the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Western Balkans 6 Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF) and with the support of the European Commission, was held online and attended by 47 participants.

CE marking platform is a tool helping manufacturers to identify preliminary applied European New Approach Directives for its product, and to facilitate import and export to European Union and all WB6 markets. The important advantage of the platform is consultative report containing detailed information and links on regulations, harmonized standards, etc., related to applicable New Approach Directives, and important for operational realization of CE marking process.

The training was expertly led by Ms. Anila Jani. The training covered key topics including the New Approach Directives, CE Marking, the practical use of the CE Marking platform, the process and steps for achieving CE certification, and the steps for implementing CE Marking in business operations.

During the training session, the platform’s functionalities were explained, along with the benefits it offers in supporting SMEs from the WB6 economies by providing complete, clear, and reliable information and guidance on the compliance of their products with the regulations and rules for CE marking.

The training concluded with a question-and-answer session.

This is the third training day held as part of a series taking place across the six chambers of commerce in the Western Balkans, aimed at supporting local SMEs in understanding and utilizing the CE Marking platform.

This activity was organized within the framework of the Project: “EU support to WB6 CIF for the Development of a Common Regional Market.”
