Joint Presentation of Western Balkans 6 SMEs in the Construction and Plant Engineering Sectors at SAIE 2024
Bologna, Italy – October 9-12, 2024 – The joint presentation of SMEs from the construction and plant engineering sectors from the Western Balkans 6 participated in SAIE 2024: The Building Fair. Design, construction, plant engineering. This joint presentation, also part of the WB6 CIF Regional Supplier Development Program, which aims to ensure participation of SMEs in the regional and multinational supply chains and establishing new regional partnerships between WB6 companies, served as a valuable tool for supporting the development of SMEs and helping them establish a presence in broader international markets. The SAIE fair in Bologna is a prime platform for showcasing innovation, seismic safety, sustainability, and digital transformation within the construction supply chain, offering an occasion to discover the excellence of the entire building supply chain.
The joint presentation was organized by the Western Balkans 6 Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF) with the support of the European Commission, implemented within the framework of the project “EU Support to the WB6 CIF for the Development of a Common Regional Market, 2024/454-229”.
During this 4-day fair, a large number of visitors visited the WB6 CIF stand. The participating SMEs, under the WB6 CIF umbrella, had the opportunity to attend B2B meetings, which were held daily, aiming to forge partnerships with potential European and Italian collaborators, fostering opportunities to develop joint supply chains and expand into new markets. The Chairman of the Managing Board of the Western Balkans 6 Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF), Mr. Lulzim Rafuna, visited the event and engaged with the participating SMEs.
The participating SMEs gained valuable opportunities during the fair, establishing important new contacts and showcasing their products on an international stage. It was a significant success, opening doors to international market opportunities. The experience opened new horizons for international cooperation and provided a valuable opportunity for further expanding their market abroad and driving overall business growth.
