Marko Mandić, Head of the CCIS Center for the Chamber of Investment Forum of the Western Balkans
The Western Balkans Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF) will issue a public call for small and medium enterprises from six economies of the region that need technical and financial support from the funds of European Union.
During 2022, WB6 CIF will conduct an action to provide technical assistance and support to small and medium enterprises, which will enable them access to EU funds. 60 selected companies will have the opportunity to engage external expert support in applying for EU programs.
The action also includes access to other forms of funding in case a clear need is identified related to the lack of capacity of SMEs to take advantage of the opportunities provided by available schemes because of the demanding and complicated application process. Experts from the six chambers of commerce of the Western Balkans region will be involved in providing professional assistance to SMS’s by external professional services, which will enable the creation of support services for chambers in this area.
Companies will be selected through an open call for expressions of interest. The call will be published in the national media of all six economies during June, and the selection will be made by individual chambers of commerce.
