The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia invites you to the presentation of the study “Getting Stronger After COVID-19: Nearshoring Potential in the Western Balkans” on September 20, 2021, at 10 am at the premises of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (Hall 1)
A study on the potential of the Western Balkans to attract foreign investment was prepared by the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies in cooperation with their joint Association of the Chambers of Commerce and Industries from Western Balkans – the Western Balkans Six Chamber Investment Forum (WB6CIF), and it is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (Feel free to download the whole study by following link ).
At the upcoming event, experts from the the Chamber Partnership Western Balkans Project and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, together with the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies, will present to the public the main conclusions of the study, which indicate that Western Balkan economies can benefit from the changes that await the post-pandemic world in the field of business of the largest global production and supply chains in new markets, with the necessary continued improvement of the economic environment of the Western Balkans.
The presentation of the study findings will be followed by a panel discussion in which participants will have an inside look at the opportunities and challenges that the study has identified.
The presentation of the study is organized as a hybrid event, where a limited number of participants can attend the live presentation in Hall 1 of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (in facilities that are in line with current Covid19 measures) while for those who want to follow the presentation online we are providing following of the event via Zoom application.
