WB6 Chamber Investment Forum calls on businesses to help Albanian citizens

WB6 CIF President of the Managing Board Marko Cadez called on companies from the region to help the Albanian population and businesses affected by last week’s devastating earthquakes.

“After the first, urgent support, the next step will be to assist in the reconstruction of the destroyed and damaged facilities, and as early as Wednesday, December 4, I will travel to Albania to discuss concrete activities with my colleagues from the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania and the competent representatives of the Albanian Government.”, Cadez announced.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia has already allocated funds to support Albania, we urge the companies from the region to donate assistance, according to their capabilities, based on the need published by the Albanian government on https://e-albania.al/donate, Cadez stated.

On behalf of the WB6 Chamber Investment Forum of the Western Balkan Six, of which Cadez is president, companies from all over the region have been called on solidarity.

“We are in daily contact with the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania, which is the coordinator of assistance gathering in Albania and other competent Albanian institutions, CCIS and WB6 CIF member chambers are available to our businessmen for any additional information to help in sending the most needed assistance to those who need it the most in Albania” Cadez said.
